Welcome to the Lehigh Valley Running Scene website, an online running magazine for people living in and around the Lehigh Valley. The goal of this site is to create a sense of community among runners of all types and deliver up to the minute news and information to our readers. It doesn’t matter if you’re fast or slow, big or small, young or old; if you love running that is all that matters.

Lehigh Valley Running Scene is the the brainchild of Jill Forsythe. She has considered herself a runner since 2007 and began running in order to lose some stubborn pregnancy weight and gain back the fitness she had lost over the years. Somewhere along her journey she discovered a love for running and hasn’t stopped since. Jill is a member of the Lehigh Valley Road Runners club and is on the LVRR Kids Running Committee. You’ll find her at the LVRR’s Kids Races every other weekend during the summer in beautiful Lehigh Parkway. Jill also likes racing so you just may spot her at a local race throughout the year.
