Running shoes as art. Probably not something you’ve thought about, right? Interestingly enough, there are some who have.
Artist Pai-San Ng, born in Taiwan, raised in L.A. and now residing in Chicago, uses red-tipped wooden matches to create art. In Chinese culture the color red symbolizes luck and fire symbolizes danger. She mixes the two elements to create her art. This piece was created in memory of a good friend who passed away.
