Spartan Race Needs Volunteers

Are you interested in being a part of the Spartan Race at Blue Mountain in Pennsylvania but don’t want to actually DO the race?
The Spartan Race will be held on September 10th, and volunteers are needed all day during various shifts from 6:30am to 6:00pm.

The following volunteer shifts on September 10th are available:
- Registration – 6:30am to 1:30pm (race for free at 2:30pm)
- Course volunteers -
~ Shift 1- 7:30am to 1:00pm (race for free at 2:30pm)
~ Shift 2 – 12:00pm to 6:00pm (race for free at 9:00am)
~ Full day / Paid Shift – 7:30am to 6:00pm (No day-of free race [free future race entry]. $50 Visa/Amex Gift Card or donation to Club/Charity)
- Captains (can be from any shift) – Must be available to show up at 4:30pm on Friday, September 9th to review their assigned obstacle and learn how they will get to it on race day with their team of Volunteers. Captains are gifted $50.00 (must show up to Friday meeting).

Thank you for posting this!!! I have wanted to do the Spartan Race since last year (when I was pregnant), but having a baby, working full time, trying to get into grad school, having a wonderful husband that is full time student and full time employee, just simply has not made preparing correctly for this possible. I am so excited that there is another way to be involved!!!!
I would like to volunteer for the New York Race and also participate in the race on the 24th of sept., wolfes pond park. I’m not getting an answer from my previous e-mails and the date is drawing nearer. Please advise if I can volunteer and what I have to do. and, also, what I have to do to sign up for the race.
