Running Activities for Children

More and more often, race directors are including fun events designed specifically for children, piggybacking them on a variety of races ranging from 5k to marathon distances. This has helped propel race events beyond the old school notion of simply banging out a race and heading home. Now, races have much more of a family atmosphere surrounding them as children are introduced to the benefits of a healthier lifestyle with activities, such as running.
