Running Clinic and Expo

The Pagoda Pacers Athletic Club is organizing a running expo that will be open to the general public with an emphasis toward the youth of Berks County. This event will be geared toward introducing them to all facets of the local running community; from health and injury issues to how to pick out running shoes.

It will be called the Berks County 2010 Running Clinic and Expo and will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2010, from 6 to 9PM, at the John Scholl Life Sports Center, Albright College, 1621 N. 13th St., Reading, PA.

The main event will be featured speaker, Steve Spence, current head cross country and track coach at Shippensburg University. Among Steve’s other accomplishments, are a 2:12 marathon P.R. and bronze medalist at the 1991 World Championships in men’s marathon.
