Tough Mudder inagural race at Bear Creek, PA

You may have noticed that Registration is now closed for the inaugural Tough Mudder event at Bear Creek this May. Perhaps you didn’t sign up because 1) You forgot, 2) You ran out of time, 3) You’re a sissy. (You can include me in #3.)

Well, here’s the good news! You can still participate at the Tough Mudder event in the role of race volunteer. The event coordinators need 300 worthy volunteers to help put this awesome race together. So, come on folks, let’s rally and cheer on all of our fearless friends and family members on Sunday, May 2nd.

If you have ever volunteered at a race then you know just what goes into the making of an event and how much fun and worthwhile volunteering is. If you’ve never volunteered before, well it’s about time you should. This looks like a great event to get some experience!

Volunteer positions are unpaid, but all volunteers will receive:

  • A Tough Mudder volunteer t-shirt
  • All meals will be provided on race day
  • Free access to the Tough Mudder post party
  • An invitation to the staff/volunteer pizza party on Saturday May 1st at 6:30pm (one free DogFish Head beer for those 21 and over)
